Creating a release

In the portal, go to Releases and choose New release. Choose the label, the title and the type of release (single, EP or album).

As an artist, you release under the label Crystal Distribution, with your own name in the ℗ and © lines. Want your own label name? Then sign up as a label; Crystal Distribution approves labels first.

The wizard has six steps: Basics (title, artists, genre), Tracks (audio and credits), Artwork, Planning and stores (release date, countries and stores), Rights, and Review & submit. Each step shows what is still missing; you can save along the way.

In the final step you sign the rights declaration and submit: that version is then locked and Crystal Distribution reviews it.

If you change anything after that, a new version is created and you sign the declaration again. You follow the status step by step on the release.
